Rooted in This Community

Why I'm Running

For over 18 years, I have lived and worked in the heart of our 62nd District. I believe that strong government is about serving the people, not culture wars.

My mission is to bring a grounded, community-first approach to the State House, ensuring that the voices of Granby, New Hartford, Barkhamsted, and Hartland are heard and respected.

We are a team of neighbors dedicated to protecting our small-town values and building a future where everyone has a strong voice. If elected, I will fight to:

  • Build housing capacity to allow seniors to age in their towns and our children to raise the next generation right here.

  • Advocate for full state funding of our schools because that is a game changer for small town budgets.

  • Champion safe communities by ensuring first responders and social services have funding sufficient to meet the public need.

  • Protect our land, our rivers and our communities, to ensure that there is a future here for our children.

An Effective Advocate

Board of Selectmen, Granby

Being elected to the Board of Selectmen in Granby was a great honor, and I intend to continue my work on the Board if I am elected to serve as your State Representative.

President, Stony Hill Village

Help secure the grants and community partnerships that funded critical upgrades including emergency power, modern heating and cooling, and ADA-accessible improvements for residents.

Board of Directors, Farmington River Food Co-op

I'm working with a team to open a community-owned grocery store that will support our local farmers, provide high-quality food and strengthen our local economy.

Executive Committee, Kearns Community Center

We created a plan to address the isolation of our seniors and to build a resource for our families while also removing a tax-burden from the town books.

Former Chair, Granby Eduction Foundation

Schools do not rely on public funding alone. With my leadership, Granby Education Foundation grew both its donations and grant awards during the pandemic.

Member, Granby Commission on Aging

As a former member, I helped propose, evaluate and coordinate community programs, services, and facility updates for older adults, working closely with town staff and the Granby Senior Center.
